Ouch

Went for a nice relaxing trail run yesterday. Was enjoying the fall colours when my right ankle just twists while I'm landing and I fall. Then we had a nice 2km walk back to where we parked. The pics were taken yesterday evening, with my right ankle still considerably larger than the left. My only worry is not being able to train. Right now I'm going through a job change, and some personal problems. I've been feeling like running, biking and swimming are keeping me sane by allowing me to burn off some stress and giving me some time to think things through. Today my ankle is a little sore but I can walk on it, so I'm hoping I'll need about a week off running and biking but I'd still like to hit the pool.
Right now IMC is pretty far from my mind (but never that far), at this point I just hope training and competing at the race will still be able to happen. It's a long way away, so I'm trying to leave this off of the stress list for now.

hey kerri...like everything, whether a fall, bike wreck, or heck even a dog bite...maybe stuff like this just gives us a time to put the button on paws, maybe even rewind a little, and then come back with a purpose...at least i think, and hope that how this stuff all works....
